This past Friday, Advanced Angler got an invite to head up to Clear lake; California’s Big Bass Capital and spend a day fishing, filming and photographing with Damiki Fishing Tackle’s pro staff members Bryan Thrift and Kevin Stewart.

Thrift was hot off a great season on the FLW Tour where he was in contention for the Angler of the Year title until the end, and posting his second consecutive third place finish at the Forrest Wood Cup.  Stewart was just off  his rookie season on tour where he cashed checks in three of the six events.

Thrift and Stewart came to Clear Lake with Damiki to work on new projects as well as media and tackle retailers.

We got the chance to watch and learn as the pair experimented with some of Damiki’s newest lures and taught us some valuable tips for how to fish them and lures like them.

Oh, by the way.  The fish pictured here were part of a 29-pound limit put together by these guys using these and other Damiki products throughout the day.
