Dave Lefebre -Excited about Beaver lake

It’s the night before the Beaver Lake FLW Tour Major and I’m excited to fish here for a change. This place has had my number over the years until I stopped going up the river 2 years ago (ironically). Since then, I’ve managed to get a big check and even led after day one last year. I’ve had a great practice this week and honestly to not make the top 20 cut in this one would be a huge disappointment.

But then again this is fishing and anything can happen…as in Table Rock last month…ouch. If it happens it happens, if it don’t; it don’t, but if I catch what bites I should do very well…fingers crossed.

Nothing else has really been going on since last week, just practicing hard and trying to rebound from my worst finish in a long time. We are all looking forward to getting home after this one, lots happening. We plan on leaving the diesel, boat, and 5th wheel in Kentucky somewhere because we head there after the Potomac in three weeks. After this event the schedule gets hot…Can’t wait!
