Murray All In: Nor Cal Sports Show

I’m back in Phoenix after spending Friday and Saturday at the ISE Show in Sacramento.

I worked those days for my newest sponsor River2Sea, and I got to be a part of the Ultimate Bass Round Table deal that they do up there. Being a part of the group was pretty cool. That was a pretty stout group of fishermen who were taking those questions; Gary Dobyns, Ish Monroe, Skeet Reese and Cody Meyer were on the panel.

It was pretty cool to see Skeet get nominated for the California Hall of Fame. I’ve been his roommate on the road for several years, and he works really hard to be as good as he is; I was really proud of him for getting that induction, and happy for him too.

It was good to be able to spend that much quality time with the guys at River2Sea. Being from Arizona, I do most of my business with my sponsors by phone, and being able to spend that kind of time with them is really cool.

The show was really busy the two days I was there and the River2Sea booth was packed most of the time. I watch a bunch of product get sold in that booth, and I can’t wait to start using more of it myself. I’ve used some of their products in the past, and have been impressed, but the new stuff they’ve got is really cool. I can’t wait to work with them more and seeing what we can do together.

I’ve got a couple of team tournaments coming up here in the next couple of weeks, and I’ll start practicing for them this week. I’m looking forward o getting back into competition, I really love fishing tournaments.

Well, I’m hanging out at home with Amy and T.J. and I can’t think of anyplace I’d rather be, talk to you next week.
