HomeFeaturesVideo – The Adventures of Massole – Congratulations Roy Halladay In 2010, Advanced Angler’s Dan O’Sullivan was invited to spend the day with Skeet Reese and Philadelphia Phillies Cy Young Award winning pitcher Roy Halladay as they fished on Clear Lake. The outing was a gift from the Phillies for Halladay throwing a perfect game earlier in that season. During the trip and after, Halladay would agree to an interview and photo shoot that would earn O’Sullivan an article in Bassmaster Magazine, as well as a cover shot on the issue. Halladay would continue his Hall of Fame career until just yesterday, when word of his retirement from Major League Baseball was announced. Our own Massole, being a baseball fan, and a fan of fishing realized that Advanced Angler needed to congratulate Halladay on his Hall of Fame career and for his retirement. But, he did it in his own unique way; by leaving Halladay with a Red Sox fan send off. Congratulations Roy from all of us at Advanced Angler.
