AZ Game and Fish – Diamondbacks Kids Event

Bucks Falcon Mercury

The Arizona Diamondbacks, along with the Arizona Game and Fish Department, sportsmen’s/conservation groups, and other partners, will host the second annual “Outdoor Rec Day” on Saturday April 27.

The interactive street fair lasts from 1-5 p.m. at 4th Street and Jackson, just west of the ballpark. The fair will offer lots of hands-on activities, including a kids fishing tank (loaner poles and bait provided), self-contained archery and airsoft ranges, an ATV track, fly-casting and more.

There will be exhibits featuring outdoor recreation opportunities. As part of the event, the Diamondbacks are offering special discounted ticket pricing for the 5:10 p.m. Diamondbacks vs. Rockies game. The first 20,000 ticketholders to the gate will receive a Wade Miley garden gnome. To see the full range of discounted ticket pricing and to order tickets, visit www.dbacks.com/outdoorrec.

Those who sign up for the Arizona Game and Fish eNews between April 27-May 1 will be entered into a drawing for a certified, autographed jersey of Diamondbacks starting pitcher Daniel Hudson that will be given away by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
