duckett-pro-driven_medGUNTERSVILLE, Ala. – Duckett Fishing, one of most innovative and fastest-growing rod and reel production companies in the U.S., is introducing an inshore fishing line of rods designed to offer saltwater anglers the same high-quality, on-the-water experience that Duckett Fishing’s freshwater rods have proven to offer.

Guntersville, Alabama-based Duckett Fishing has earned a reputation for producing rods that are lightweight yet exhibit extraordinary strength. The Inshore Series will feature saltwater-specific spinning and casting rods that display the same quality and manufacturing care that are evident in previous Duckett Fishing models.

The Inshore Series came about because Duckett Fishing customers asked the company to produce a saltwater rod.

“The Inshore Series started in a different way. We didn’t sit down in a board meeting one day and say, ‘Hey, let’s do saltwater next.’ This series happened because it seemed that everywhere we went people asked us to make a saltwater rod,” said Duckett Fishing founder and CEO Boyd Duckett.

“We listened and then went to work. We went literally from coast to coast and consulted with inshore fishermen, guides, store managers and store employees from around the country. We used the advice to help us create a fantastic series of rods that will meet the specific needs of inshore anglers. ”

Duckett Fishing’s Inshore Series rods are available at Academy Sports, Bass Pro Shops, Dicks Sporting Goods and many independent retailers across the country.

Features of the Inshore Series:

  • Sensi-Touch™ blanks – made from the highest quality multi-modulous pre-pregs in order to produce an extremely lightweight and durable rod;
  • Low-res carbon combination for a desirable strength-to-weight ratio;
  • Halo-Sanded™ – for a stronger, lighter rod with great sensitivity;
  • True parabolic bend for lightweight presentations without sacrificing power;
  • Triple-coated thread wrap to reduce salt-water corrosion;
  • Proprietary carbon-reel seat with titanium-coated hood;
  • KIGAN-patented guide system for reducing line twist;
  • Plasma ion coated guides with Zirconia inserts, which produces the strongest, most saltwater-resistant combination available.
