Each year, the Foundation donates thousands of rods, reels, tackle boxes, and lures to kids. It also assists civic organizations, youth fishing organizations, and other charitable organizations in sponsoring events that promote fishing to both inner city and rural youth. The events teach young people about the sport of fishing, the ecology of the outdoors, and the responsibility each person has to maintain our planet’s natural resources.
