Video – Under the Lid with Casey Ashley

Under the Lid is perhaps our most popular feature on Advanced Angler.  We get more comments about these videos than we can count, and if we were to be honest, they’re among our favorite features on the site as well.  Being able to sit with a pro, film all of the little tips and tricks they put into their boats is something we truly enjoy.

We film an Under the Lid any chance we get, and while we were at the Toyota / Quantum Media Days at Big Cedar Resort on Table Rock Lake, we caught up with Elite Series pro and two-time Elite Series winner,  Casey Ashley of Donalds, S.C. and took a tour of his Costa wrapped Triton / Mercury tour boat.

Ashley is a noted jig fisherman, he is an angler who likes to keep things simple, and he has some tips in setting up his boat and his storage for doing so.

So, while Ashley himself is competing in the Elite 12 at the final day of the Bassmaster Elite Series tournament on Bull Shoals, take a moment to see how his boat is set up to help him reach the highest finish he can in the event.
