Video Tip – Paul Mueller Fishing the Fall Turnover

Power Pole

In many areas of the country the overnight lows are beginning to dip into the low 60’s and even into the high 50’s, and that can only mean one thing – fall fishing is just around the corner.

With the cooling weather, shad will begin their migration into the backs of the tributaries, and as the surface temperatures begin to cool further, one other thing will happen – turnover.

A lake turning over literally means that the surface of the water will literally flop with the bottom layers and the water will mix, creating fishing as random as anyone could think of.

Fishing during the turnover can be extremely tough, and our friend Paul Mueller, a professional guide and tournament angler from Connecticut offers us tips to fish during this dynamic time.
