VAN, Tex. – Known for his quiet demeanor and a humble spirit, 41-year-old Bassmaster Elite Series pro, James Niggemeyer from Van, Tex., has decided that it is time to get a little EGO in his fishing.

No, Niggemeyer is not changing the way he does things; instead, he is announcing a new partnership with the fishing brand EGO; responsible for the E2 Slider landing nets and other innovative fishing accessories.

Niggemeyer had great things to say about the EGO product line.  “Since the introduction of the S2 Slider net, EGO has produced innovative top quality products that exceed the expectations of today’s anglers,” he said. “But, they are not just landing nets, they have measuring boards, balance beams, tournament weigh bags and the S2 Slider converts to a lure retriever on a pole that will help me get lures back when they are snagged.  I am pleased to work with EGO and utilize products that will make me more efficient while on the job in the Bassmaster Elite Series, the Bassmaster Opens and while operating my guide business on Lake Fork.”

Grant Corbett, of EGO said that Niggemeyer is a great addition to their brand. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to partner with James,” said Corbett. “He is a great individual and an Elite Angler with a proven track record, that will assist us in developing a greater awareness for the EGO brand and products in the competitive bass fishing market.”

Niggemeyer will be using EGO fishing accessories while competing on the Bassmaster Elite Series, and the EGO S2 Slider nets during his event on the Bassmaster Central Opens and while operating his guide service on the famed big bass factory of Texas, Lake Fork, near his East Texas home.
