World Fishing Network Posts Record Viewership in April Free Preview

DENVER and TORONTO – – World Fishing Network, the leading entertainment destination and digital resource for anglers throughout North America, posted the highest single-month viewership in the history of the network during the month of April as part of the network’s North American free preview offering.

Overall, World Fishing Network experienced a 265% increase[1] in average audience viewership in the U.S. during the preview period, allowing anglers and outdoor enthusiasts across a number of platforms to experience the only TV network dedicated to fishing.

World Fishing Network’s free preview was available to all of the network’s cable, satellite and telecommunications service providers. Participating providers in the U.S. included Antietam Cable, Bright House Networks, Cablevision (Optimum), CenturyLink, Cox Communications, DISH, MetroNet and Verizon FiOS, while Access, Bell, Cablevision du Nord du Quebec, Cogeco, Eastlink, MTS, Rogers, SaskTel, Shaw Cable, Shaw Direct, Source Cable, TBayTel, TELUS, Videotron and Westman participated in Canada.
