John Murray – Florida to the Midwest

I was fortunate to get out of Florida – sort of unscathed – I ended up 47th in points after those two events; missing one cut by an ounce and making one by an ounce, so it sorta worked out.

Anyway, we spent a week after Okeechobee over in Naples with my Sister and her family. So TJ got to play with his cousin. Then we headed up to Table Rock and spent the last week there with Brett Hite and his girlfriend; just camping and fishing and goofing off!

After that, I went up to D&R Sports up in Kalamazoo, Mich. – Randy Van Dam’s place. I have heard about this place for years and I finally got to see it. I was there with River2Sea, I saw a lot of good vendors; a lot of good people and a lot of good customers; it was fun to just be talking fishing for two days!

So, after that, I went back to Table Rock for Easter with Amy and TJ, and then we’ll be moving over to Bull Shoals, Ark., the site of the next event and then this Friday I will actually be fishing a charity tournament over on Beaver Lake, for a kid’s charity.

So, I’m looking forward to the next couple of weeks with the charity event and then Bull Shoals and get to fish in the next Elite.

So, It’s a busy schedule, but it’s been great weather everywhere we have been and I am really enjoying it.

Trying to get my mind wrapped around Bull Shoals right now; hopefully I can get a little bit of a plan figured out before we get out on the water!
