The Bass Reporters from the 2017 Bassmaster Classic – Media Day

The Bass Reporters – minus founding member Steve Price, who could not be in Houston this week – set up shop following Media Day at the 2017 Bassmaster Classic.

In this video from Minute Maid Park, the guys share information they heard from the anglers while they were interviewing the competitors, including fishing reports from Lake Conroe, expectations from the field and the weather.

Editor’s Note: In this video, it is stated that Lake Conroe has not seen a Texas Share Lunker (over 13 pounds) since 2009.  That fact was incorrect, as pointed out to us by local angler Billy Smith Jr. There was a 13-pound, 14-ounce largemouth caught by David Perciful in a three hour, three fish Tuesday Night tournament on April 7, 2015. The Bass Reporters were unaware of this fish until Mr. Smith brought it to our attention.
