JL Marine cordially invites you to visit our booth (#634) February 21st-24th at the upcoming 44th annual BassMaster Classic. We will be on the upper level of the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex. There will be appearances by Jimmy Houston, Bill Dance, Charlie Ingram, Ray Brazier and Luke Clausen. You’ll also want to check out the new Micro shallow water anchor on display. We hope to see you there!

Following are our annual Classic stats, thoughts and well wishes:

1- Missing Champion. Best wishes to Cliff Pace as he recovers from a serious hunting injury. You will be missed in the Classic and all season long. Get well, and come back soon!
2- Consecutive appearances by a Lee brother representing Auburn University. Last year it was Matt. This year Jordan Lee qualified by winning the Carhartt College Series Championship. “Tide” or “Tiger”, you have to respect that family tradition!
4- Classics fished together by the Lane brothers. A feat we think will never be equaled. In other words, “no passing Lanes” ahead. We are proud to call you friends!
5- Classic Champions utilizing Power-Pole shallow water anchors since Alton Jones’ 2008 victory! Kevin VanDam 2010 and 2011, Chris Lane 2012, Cliff Pace 2013. Thank you and well done! Who will it be for 2014?
8- Former Classic winners in this year’s field. Mark Davis, Michael Iaconelli, Alton Jones,Takahiro Omori, Cliff Pace, Skeet Reese, Kevin VanDam and of course our own Chris Lane. We are proud to be associated with all of these Champions!
9- Alabama anglers in the 2014 field. Coby Carden, Randy Howell, Aaron Martens, Steve Kennedy, David Kilgore, Jordan Lee, Gerald Swindle, Greg Vinson and our own Chris Lane all look to duplicate Boyd Duckett’s home state win. It would be another “Sweet Home Alabama” victory!
24- Consecutive Classics for Kevin VanDam! KVD is chasing Rick Clunn’s amazing record of 28 in a row. We truly appreciate watching this mind boggling pursuit. Roll on KVD!
30- Classics for Gary Klein. More than double the Classic experience of the 14 Rookies in the field. Gary is approaching Rick Clunn’s impressive record of 32 Classics. Thirty Classic qualifications is a tremendous achievement in an outstanding career. Keep up the good work Gary!
102- Number of Power-Pole shallow water anchors in the 55 boat Classic field. We are humbled. Thank you anglers for your overwhelming support!

Congratulations to all 55 qualifiers for this year’s Classic. Thank you for the tremendous support of our customers, Dealers, Boat Manufacturers and anglers. We hope you all have a wonderful Classic experience in Birmingham!

Thanks for your support and we look forward to a great 2014 season!
