PAA Partners with Bass Rankings.com

Friday, May 3, 2013 — Anglers don’t want to wait to see standings and rankings. For Professional Anglers Association anglers, the wait is now over.

For some time, the PAA and Bass Rankings have been working together to track the PAA’s Angler of the Year standings and rank its anglers. That cooperation finally came together recently when the PAA launched the Rankings section on its website, FishPAA.com.

Using an API plug-in provided by Bass Rankings, PAA competitors can click on the “Rankings” tab at the top of FishPAA.com to find instantaneous standings results from the most recent events.

“We’ve been working with Bass Rankings on our point system, and it lists all of our events, our anglers and their points,” PAA President Dave Mansue said. “So it was a natural fit to include Bass Rankings into our site.”

“We’re excited, and so are our anglers. Now they can instantly review their points and standings after tournaments.”

“This is a prime example of what Bass Rankings is about,” Bass Rankings Editor Sean Ostruszka said. “We are here to help the sport of bass fishing any way we can. We’re proud to be of service to a top-flight organization like the PAA, and we look forward to working with them and all companies for years to come.”
