Dave Lefebre – Kentucky Lake Blessing

Power Pole

LefebreBlogI obviously had an awesome week in Kentucky! It is just so incredibly hard to win an FLW tournament that you really never know if you’ll ever get another shot or not. I’m thankful I had the opportunity, and feel absolutely blessed that it happened so soon after my last day on the Potomac a couple weeks ago. I think this was thought to be my weakest venue as far as the Fantasy Fishing world was concerned, but I’ve liked Kentucky lately and have felt confident and comfortable fishing there over the past couple years.

It really hasn’t sunk in yet. I’ve been so busy the last couple days and now we’re getting ready to start building, lots going on, but I like it that way. We will be leaving for Champlain next Friday so not much time to get things rolling here. I’m actually taking a short break right now from unpacking the boat and trucks and then I have to get the grass cut because it is out of control, lol. I have my buddy Jimmy coming up for a couple days later this week to build jigs for the Champlain trip, so I’m just getting caught up now so I can play later.

I wanted to take a minute to thank my three co-anglers in Kentucky for being true-co’s and being there for the right reasons. All three of them “get it” and I appreciate their attitudes and help throughout the event. It was refreshing and I feel like I made three new friends…Thank you! Also a shout out to my cameraman on Sunday, best in da bidness!!!

I’ll catch you all next week!
