In our pursuit of elevating fishing to the next level, we at Advanced angler have explored many topics.  We’ve covered everything from installing accessories on our boats, from the HydroWave to custom battery charger installations and Power Poles.  We have also covered many different aspects of fishing, from reading electronics to how to fish many of today’s hot fishing techniques.

We haven’t yet covered much of the topic of operating a bass boat.

While we were on the Red River at the 2013 Forrest Wood Cup, our boat driver was a Red River local named Ricky Lee who has built up a reputation for being one of the hammers on the river in local events.  Lee also took the time to show us how he navigates the stumpfields of the Red River.

His technique will help any of us that fish areas with long stumpfileds leading into good coves or backwaters.

So, the next time you decide to go fishing on your favorite stump filled body of water, take your time and use the tips that Lee has in store for you in this Advanced How-to video from Advanced angler.com.
