Brandon Tuttle Joins Dollahon PR

TULSA, Okla. (Oct. 8, 2013) – Dollahon PR announces that Brandon Tuttle has joined the Tulsa, Okla.-based company and brings a high level of web and creative design expertise to the marketing communications group.

Tuttle, 28, received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a focus on digital and graphic design from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan., in 2008.

For the past five years, Tuttle has been a web designer for Cabela’s in Sidney, Neb. His work there encompassed all aspects of supporting www.Cabelas.com, plus he was instrumental in the development of Cabela’s highly successful “It’s In Your Nature” advertising campaign that includes a web component, as well as print and broadcast.

Tuttle, a native of Winfield, Kan., is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing and hunting. His graphics design training and passion for outdoor activities led him to the job at Cabela’s. The combination is also a great match for Dollahon PR, who represents clients in the fishing, boating, hunting and energy industries, providing a variety of marketing services that range from public relations to web site development to social media responsibilities.

“Brandon’s skills are top notch and a great match to the needs of our clients,” said Gary Dollahon, founder of Dollahon PR. “His responsive design capabilities for creating flexible framework, knowledge about SEO optimization and attention to effective coding for analytics are all about what makes a web site a viable marketing tool in the total communications package. We are excited to have him in our office and on our team.”

Earlier this year, Dollahon PR hired Andrew Upshaw, a Stephen F. Austin marketing graduate from Texas, to handle social media responsibilities for the group. Both Tuttle and Upshaw have now relocated to Tulsa.

“Having two guys in their upper 20s who have literally grown up with digital media in their DNA is a real benefit for our clients around such needs. I’m fortunate in that both guys also have good marketing minds. So with our respective communication skills and proven capabilities, we’re in a good position to take any level of marketing communications needs full-circle, with each element along the way totally complementing the other. I like where we are, both in our capabilities and our geographic location, for effectively serving customers in the outdoor and energy industries,” Dollahon added.

Dollahon has more than 35 years in marketing communications, having worked for companies large and small throughout his career. He has lived in the Tulsa area since a job change took him there in 1991. He founded Dollahon PR in 2006.
