Duckett Fishing Joins We Love to Fish Support Team

Marshfield, Mass. – We Love to Fish, a Massachusetts non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the love of fishing with intellectually disabled adults, is pleased to announce that Duckett Fishing, the manufacturer of premium fishing rods, has joined the We Love to Fish Support Team.

Rob Lever, director of We Love to Fish, said that having a company like Duckett Fishing as a part of the support team is incredible.  “We love to share the joy of fishing with people, and having great equipment helps enhance our participant’s experience,” said Lever.  “Duckett Fishing not only produces tremendous rods, but they have made themselves a part of the industry in a way that seeks to deliver quality for a fair price; we are so proud to be sharing the “white rods” with our clients.”

Sean Schuyler of Duckett Fishing said that they saw the value of We Love to Fish immediately.  “As anyone with personal experience of working or living with these special people knows, a smile can go a long way,” said Schuyler.  “We immediately recognized the value of We Love to Fish’s efforts and wanted to find a way to be involved; it’s a great program and is only getting better, we are happy to be involved.

We Love to Fish will utilize Duckett Fishing rods on all of their trips with their participants, and the participants will also receive Duckett Fishing garments to help keep them warm and safe on the water.

We Love to Fish is an organization which provides adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to participate in outdoor activities on the water, learn new skills and have fun!  We Love to Fish feels that it is our duty to share our expertise and passion of fishing with our guests, at no cost to them.  Each guest is provided a Rod and reel and is able to keep it for future days on the water. We are also proud to be a part of the Special Olympics, with our guests being invited to compete in this year’s summer games.
