James Niggemeyer – Classic and Appearances

Bucks Skeeter Yamaha

NiggemeyerBlogI just got back from the Bassmaster Classic a couple of nights ago. I Had a wonderful time; met a lot of great people, just overwhelming! Just a wonderful show that B.A.S.S. put on.

The EXPO was just jamming on Saturday and Sunday – lots of people. It was hard to get around at some points. That’s a good thing – everyone was out just seeing all the latest things in the fishing industry.

Everybody is excited about the new year and obviously; excited about the Bassmaster Classic.

You know, I want to first congratulate Chris Lane on a wonderful job that he did! He did an incredible job and congratulations on being our new Bassmaster Classic Champion! What an incredible honor – just want to congratulate you Chris.

A lot of great things coming up this week – I have a couple of events that I am going to be at – first, I will be at Shipp’s Marine in Gladewater, Texas for their Spring Kickoff Event on March first and second. They have all kinds of great things going on with seminars and training on the latest electronics and fishing techniques. I’ll be there representing Yamaha Motors both days; that is going to be a really neat event.

As well, on March third and fourth Cabela’s in Allen, Texas; I will be there for their Great Outdoors Days event. They have kid’s casting events and seminars and the 2012 Cabela’s Tackle Tour. Along with the events, they’re going to have a big Door Buster Sale! This is the time to stock up and to get ready for a big, great year on the water and in the outdoors. I just want to invite everybody to that.

I am just happy to be home; I missed my family because they stayed here while I was out in Shreveport.

Shreveport is a wonderful town to have the Bassmaster Classic; really to have any tournament! First off, the Red River is a great fishery and the people are warm and they are just excited and happy; welcoming to have us there in their town and on the Red River. It was a great time and super and now I’m anxious to get the Elite Series kicked off!

I’ll be home here a couple of days before this great weekend of different events that I’ll be appearing and attending. I’ll just be working on tackle and try to sneak out for an afternoon and head out to the water.

Anyway, that’s it for now; I’ll check in with you next week for the next installment of the blog.

Talk with you later!
