A longtime supporter of tournament fishing, Ranger Boats’ affiliation with FLW Outdoors began in the early 1980s when the organization was known as Operation Bass. In 1996, Minneapolis businessman Irwin Jacobs purchased Operation Bass and renamed the organization FLW in honor of Ranger Boats founder Forrest L.
