Ultimate Bass Radio LogoThis Saturday Morning 4/25/15 the Ultimate Bass Radio Show hosted by Kent Brown will reach a milestone when they go on the air at 5am….their 500th show!

Ultimate Bass is the only All Bass Fishing Radio Show in the West and can be heard on the 50,000 watt KHTK Sports 1140 AM station out of Sacramento, California. The show is also live streamed and archived at www.ultimatebassradio.com, westernbass.com and a free podcast on iTunes.

“I am really proud that we have made it to our 500th show and without the support of Sep and Marilyn Hendrickson it never would have happened” said Host Kent Brown. “The other thing that I am most proud of is the fact that we have never missed a show, I have never had a guest host and only once in the 500 shows did we air a “best of” show and that was Christmas morning 2010 and we didn’t have a choice”

The show has been done from the Opryland Hotel, Gaston’s Resort, Konocti Vista Casino, Russo’s Marina, Moses Lake Washington and even Hawaii once and this week’s milestone show will be no exception as it will come to you from the annual Pardee Lake Media Day that Ultimate Bass produces and next week live from the Bassmaster Elite Series at the Sacramento River.

“I am lucky that many of my best friends in the world just happen to be the best bass anglers in the world as well and they give freely of their time and let us into their world many times when they are in the heat of the battle and for that I am eternally grateful” said Brown.

The Ultimate Bass Radio show has evolved in a time when podcasts, iTunes and the internet allowed a worldwide audience to listen whenever they wanted and that has helped grow the audience of the show in our ten years.
