PAA is offering a commission based pay at lucrative rates for outstanding potential compensation. PAA will also provide these persons the ability to earn from several sources. No relocation will be necessary. Please review the following job description for these positions before applying: Sponsorship Sales Associate Job Description A successful candidate will be responsible for the acquisition of new and renewing current sponsors as well as building business partnerships and generating revenue for the organization by utilizing its profile and status. Duties and Responsibilities • Work to gain a comprehensive understanding of the target audience/prospects for your products • Conduct relevant market research and analysis to identify key trends in the industry • Develop advertising and marketing strategies and provide a solution to those strategy needs • Sell sponsorship and exhibition opportunities to both new and existing clients of the organization • Prepare exciting and creative proposals to attract new sponsors at all levels for the events and sales deck spaces • Liaise with the operations teams regularly to ensure sponsor satisfaction and deliverables according to contract • Liaise with organization managers to ensure sponsor involvement in all aspects possible and keep them up to date on sponsorship activities • Prepare contractual agreements for sponsorships • Manage the financial investment entailed in securing and fulfilling sponsorships • Monitor revenue levels to the advantage of the organization • Contribute to strategy and meeting organizational objectives • Contribute expertise and vision to marketing and development meetings • Support the organization managers in promoting the business mission and maintaining a professional reputation in the industry • Share sales and sponsorship knowledge and expertise to inform marketing strategy • Provide feedback on business development analysis to play a pivotal role in organizational planning The Bottom Line 1. Applicants will work to identify opportunities, develop leads, negotiate contracts, close deals and manage the fulfillment of the terms of the sales to the satisfaction of the sponsor. 2. You will identify new market opportunities, build contacts at networking events and conferences and develop new strategies to increase revenue. 3. With a track record of sales success and knowledge of sponsorship trends, you will be confident and effective in presenting and negotiating. 4. A network of contacts, proficiency in industry languages would be beneficial but it’s your excellent communication skills that are essential in forming solid relationships with sponsors. Required Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications: Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Marketing or Public Relations or related field. 2-5 years of experience in sales in the outdoor industry with emphasis in fishing. Knowledge of advanced sales, marketing and media relations. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), PC-based graphic arts and ad creator programs. Ability to work nights, weekends, events and holidays as required. Ability to travel as needed. Ability to multitask, manage time well and work well independently.
